Journaling: My husband and I took his parents to Nags Head, NC for a family reunion. We were told possible rain, but no mention of snow until the day after we arrived. I’m thankful that I had packed them coats, hats, and gloves. It was very very cold.
It accumulated about 4” on the beach. The sister had lived in this area for over 30 years and never seen snow stick like this. My MIL grew up never seeing snow on the beach, Overall, the weather was a wonderful surprise.
