I had so much fun with this contest last year I thought I'd bring it back again!

Have you ever run across a batch of photos you'd love to scrap but just can't find that perfect kit?
Or maybe you've seen a color swatch you'd love to have made into a kit?

Well now is your chance to have an EXCLUSIVE kit created just for YOU!

Your colors...your title...your kit!

Welcome to my April Create-A-Custom-Kit Contest!

contestpackaging.jpg

Here's a look at last year's winning kit for Amy!
(her theme was about her journey towards getting fit running marathons)

Now it's your turn!

Entering is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

1. Upload a palette in this thread of 6 to 10 colors that you've had stashed away or upload a few of the photos from the batch you 'd like a kit created around.
You can find loads of color palettes on Pinterest! Feel free to check out my Pinterest Board for color swatches as well HERE
You can also use this handy Color Palette Generator

2. Tell me the style you're looking for (artsy, traditional or a combo of both).
(feel free to browse my store for style ideas)

3. Tell me what like to see in a kit (real flowers, fabric flowers, greenery, single photo frames, multi-photo frames, journaling bits, accents, doodles, etc)...
after all...this is YOUR kit!

**Your post must have the 3 things above to qualify**
If you have any questions, please ask them here.

This contest is open to everyone!

All submissions MUST be in by 11:59pm EDT on April 30th.
The winner will be chosen randomly by May 5th right here in the thread.
Once the winner has been announced, I will contact you to start the process of creating your kit which will then
be sent to you upon completion.

Your kit will then be added to my store a few weeks later, giving you time to have some fun and create amazing pages to show off your kit!

So let the fun begin!!!

I can't wait to see what you have in store for me!

All right. Here's one that I thought might be interesting: Reborn. I'd love to have an artsy kit with a focal point of a phoenix. I think it's an interesting concept because what woman doesn't feel like she needs a rebirth of sorts, from creativity to identity. As far as elements, I'm not as interested in flowers as things like wings or feathers--anything to tie to the bird image. Branches would be great. Perhaps some flames. Your masks are amazing so I'm sure putting a glitter on the edges to look like flames would be gorgeous. Blenders would also probably add to the artistic effects. I'd love to have different word bits and quotes.

Great competition :)

Kit name: Obsession
1. Color palette attached and can send swatch if it wins.
2. A combination of artsy and traditional. ( Something along the lines of Breathe)
3. Water colored drawings would be awesome, some artsy deco , water colored papers + patterned. Word bits, and either some page blenders or one of your blend it templates.

Basically I am hoping for a kit that will become my go to kit, for scrapping my obsession with succulents, a kit that will complement and not overpower the pictures.

Thank you ♥

Palette below adding the colors black and white.

Type of kit - a combo of traditional and artsy.

I like real flowers and greenery, single and double photo frames, grafitti, paint, accents, staples, stitiching (not to messy), unique items not seen in every other kit, geared more towards a boy.

Thanks for this fun idea.

Hi Jill, Thanks for the chance, I Love this contest!
ok so... Here we go.. I love shabby chic, artsy, blendables, thick gesso, peeling paint, distressed, raised paint textures, lace, real soft romantic flowers, (like in the picture below) greenery, quotes, word art.
The palette would be a range from navy, blues, greens, to white. So mainly blues and greens with some soft pink and yellow highlights.
Name = Affirmations/Woman.
Theme is = positive, finding your strength, celebrating being a woman, mother, daughter, friend. Pulling the chaos of life together in your own way.
I saw these palettes as inspirations.
This is so exciting! Can't wait to see what you end up doing. :)

OMG - I just love these neutral colors! I am always looking for a kit that isn't specifically for boys or girls, but has a pop of color.

Style: I really like how you do artsy kits, but I tend to use a few traditional elements.

Things I want to see in a kit: String, single frames. doodles, greenery, peeled paint and rusted metal items & especially stacked paper accents

Jill, this kind of thread is awesome - it is seriously exciting to see a custom kit being done :)

(I'm having trouble getting the photo to upload) I would love to have a kit that contained the favorite colors of my family, teal, aqua, green and orangey coral + white or cool grey as the light neutral and black or navy as the dark neutral. We're all modern, creative and eclectic, so I'd like the kit to be as well, but I'm unlikely to use elements that are real botanicals, cartoonish, or too old fashioned. There are 2 guys, so I’d want some gender neutral elements. If there are words or phrases, I’d like them to be about spending time together as a family – games, going places, movie night, love, etc. Entering this contest was at least good for me to focus on what it is I’m really wanting to find in a kit :)
