Can't figure out how to insert images

I have my LO for pickle theft in my gallery, and I have the link to it in the points tracking thread, but I can't figure out how to insert the image of the one that I scrap lifted along with mine in the challenge thread. I had this problem before, and I finally figured it out, BUT....I forgot AGAIN!!! Why does every sight have to go about it differently? That's why I forget! I am tired. I will try later. Send me some instructions on how to do this,.....PLEASE!

I know it can be frustrating figuring out how to manage in the different forums, especially with the hiccups that we've had this year. But hey, we're getting on top of them!

To add the image of the page you scraplifted follow the steps below:

1. Go to that layout in the gallery. Right click on the image and click on copy image URL (in chrome) or copy link location (firefox) or Copy Shortcut (IE)
2. Go back to your post in the challenge thread & click on the A at the top of the comment box to open the advanced editor. Click on the add image icon (mountains & sun) and paste the url you just copied into the URL space on the first tab (Image Info). Do not tick retrieve remote file and reference locally.
3. Click OK. The image should now show up in your post.

If that doesn't work for you, let me know and I'll help you add it

Thank you, Fayette! I went through Firefox and it worked. So many windows to open, though. I don't remember doing it this way on the Designer Challenge. I am going to copy your instructions so that I will have them for future reference.

What format do you usually open in PSP, Cecile? Once I find that out, I'll take a look at the file here, and see if I can resave it and get it to you.

I can use PNG or JPG I tried opening with the file there I even resized still didn't give to open it

Hi Cecile, I just added the png and .page formats to the downloads today. So, if you download the file named fayette_mojotemp_july16_pbp_png_page.zip you can get the png files out of there and use those. If that doesn't work, let me know and I'll try again

Hello! I do everything on your notes and hints, but for some reason there is no return from the forum in my gallery! Please help!

You should be able to just right click on your image in the gallery and choose "copy" (you're just copying the image, not the image url). Then go to your forum post and right click and "paste" the image into your post. If that doesn't work, let me know. I'm just heading to bed, so I hope it works for you before I wake up

I do everything for your advice, for some reason the picture is not clickable, not transferred from the forum to the gallery
