Ok as I sit here and look at the bottom of the screen I see that I am not the only one who can't seem to sleep at night.... sooooo.. are you a late nighter or an early riser?

I can't seem to sleep at night when I have so many things on my mind and then instead of being productive like you think I could be, no, I sit and stare at the screen and wonder why I am not getting the things done that I want to have done.

sooo.. what do you do to help you sleep or do you just give up like I have and play on the forums haha :):

Goodmorning !!

I am for sure an early nighter and I get up around 7 in the morning.....is that early ?!?! I used to be able to sleep late but since I met my husband, that has gone. He feels that sleeping till 11 in the morning is a waste of time !! haha I dont think its a waste of time but now I am spending that extra time with my family which is way better than sleeping :)

agreed!!! see my late night staying up tonight paid off because my son that came home from wrestling and crashed just woke up (it is now 1:00 am) and is hungry and sitting down to eat haha.. so I guess that means I can spend some time chatting with him.

I usually am up by 7:30 or 8 no matter what time I end up going to bed.. sometimes that makes for a long day though..

I mostly go to bed between 11 pm and 1 am week nights and then I'm up at 5 am to go for a walk before I come home to shower and get some breakfast before heading off to work. Weekends I am usually up later but I rarely stay in bed till after 6 am.....I'm always thinking of things I should be doing so that makes sleeping in an impossibility for me.

For me I normally in bed around 11 or 12 and weekdays up around 5am but weekends I sometimes sleep in til 8 or 9 and my hubby gets up with the kids.
normally if I can't sleep I just sit in front of the computer either working on a page or in the forums or FB.
Now tho it's gotten to the point I have to come in the den anyway just to cool off. My hubby's cancer treatments has made him cold natured and with me being as hot natured as I am he's burning me up. He says something's wrong with my thermostat...LOL

Definitely an early riser, which is strange, because for many years I worked the overnight shift. But I still tend to wake up a couple of times in the night, usually around 1 and 2:30. My trick for getting to sleep is to do something tiring just before going to bed - go running or watch a movie. Even if I like the movie, it makes my eyes tired so I am usually ready to go to sleep. Then I can get up early and have some time to myself!

We lay down around 8pm week nights, and alarms go off at 4am. Some days I sleep right away, other nights I play a bit longer on my phone (social media, forums, games, whatever). Last night I didn't go to sleep till around 930. And some days I get up closer to the alarm going off, and other days I lay in bed quite a bit longer. Today it was quarter to 5. Haha. The weekends, no alarm, usually up a bit later, but still awake at the same time, because I have toddlers. They don't understand sleeping in. Lol

I am early to bed...the kids don't sleep in, so the only way I get my sleep is if I am in bed by around 10PM, if I stay up later, I usually end up regretting it. Right now, it's hard too, as baby Sparkleheart is cutting her one year molars, so I've been awake in the middle of the night off and on for the last 7 days!

You early risers seem to have a good system going! get a lot more done by not staring at the computer like I do.. I seem to fuss all night long thinking of the things I could be doing. However, like you Carol when I go to the gym in the evening I definitely can sleep more sound and earlier...

see, it sounds like you need to do a "brain dump" in your planner/bullet journal, to help your brain feel more organized ;)

For years I was an early riser, early to bed. But that all changed a few years ago when I got insomnia. Now I am awake until at least 3:30 or 4:00 am. Luckily we homeschool the kids, so I can USUALLY sleep in until about 10:30 am before I have to get up and start getting ready for our school day.
Right now I am also taking care of my grandbaby because my second grandbaby (that precious little girl that was just born) was just readmitted to the hospital for some issues with her bilirubin levels, so sleeping in has NOT been an option while grandbaby #2 has her Mommy at the hospital with her LOL. I am running on about a week of NO sleep!
