Welcome to the Great Digi Scrap Off 5.0!

Hello!
I'm Lou and I'm hosting this week's Showstopper challenge!
St Patrick's Day is this week with its shamrocks, leprechauns and of course rainbows!
We all know about the legend of the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. The legend originates from Irish folklore, where leprechauns are said to hide their pots of gold at the end of rainbows, making the treasure difficult to find because rainbows are optical illusions with no actual endpoint; essentially representing a seemingly unattainable goal.
But what if the end of the rainbow could be reached? What would be at your end of the rainbow?!

Here’s your Showstopper Challenge:
- Scrap a page about what would be at the end of your rainbow.
- Your layout can include photos or be photoless.
- Your layout must include some journaling (as much or as little as you want!).
- Your layout must include a rainbow (it can be the focal point or a very small element, it can be in a photo) and the word rainbow somewhere in the page (title or journaling).

That's it!

This is my layout. I decided to make the rainbow a prominent part of my layout, but you do not have to. You also do not have to use the colors of the rainbow for your layout, but you can if you want to!

I used the Kit Chase a Rainbow by Jen Yurko, and I used the clouds from one of the Templates On Cloud Nine by Jen Yurko also.

I cannot wait to see what is at the end of your rainbow!

Weekly Technical and Showstopper Challenges

Technical and Showstopper Challenges CANNOT be completed using the Use it All Mini Kit, Template or Mystery Box that is given with Signature Challenges.

Each week's three challenges must be completed by the deadline in order to qualify for the weekly participation prize and to be considered for our weekly Star Scrapper Award.

Our Grand Prize will be awarded to one scrapper who completes all 15 challenges by the last week’s deadline. This means even if you don’t finish each week on time, you can still catch up to earn the remaining prizes and qualify for the Grand Prize!

Please start a post in the GDSO Challenge Tracking thread
Keep your post up-to-date with links to the layouts that you’ve completed and uploaded to the GDSO gallery. Please make sure you are linking to your page IN THE GDSO GALLERY, not the thread post in the challenge.

Final deadline for all layouts is April 4 @11:59pm ET. At that time the tracking thread will be locked, the final weekly prizes will be sent, and winners will be contacted by April 7.

Thanks Lou, for this Show Stopper challenge. I feel like my pot of gold fits the legend as it's basically a seemingly unattainable goal. But I suppose that's the point. And I can still have hope! :kiss1:

As soon as I saw the "Rainbow" theme... I knew what rainbow I wanted to use. I had the pleasure of taking several photos of a rainbow arching over the street where we lived. I able to capture both ends of the rainbow but not in the same photo. I was able to blend 2 photos together to show the complete rainbow. It was a magical moment.

We have lost my husband and my son's wife since these photos were taken. I would love to be able to spent time (and take more photos) with them again.

Journaling reads:
I have realized most of my hopes and dreams. So the “pot of gold at the end of the rainbow” for me is to live out my life somewhere warm with beautiful sunsets and warm waters.
