Here's my layout of the picture I took when we went to the dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya river with my hubby's brother. It was such a great evening. It's a picture of the Grand Palace.
Such a beautiful night time shot with the lights and reflection on the water. I bet it was a stunning view in person! Thanks for joining in the challenge!

journaling:
We had never seen the Rock at La Cantera. we were amazed at the beauty of the 45 acre park and home of the spurs practice arena.
it is a $500 million legacy to the spurs. it is named after the Spurs motto - POUNDING THE ROCK.

We cannot wait to go back again.

This rock is outside of the practice arena and sits after the parking lot just befor you enter the park. But I love it and took a picture of it. Later I got home and read about the Rock at La Cantera more in detail. I read on ESPN there is a display inside of the 134,000 square foot building whihc is Popovich's coaching mantra, The Stonecutter's Credo.

"When nothing seems to help I go and look at a Stonecutter hammering away at his rock perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing it it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split into two, and I know it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before."

Such an inspirational quote and this little rock symbolizes so much.

What a cool plant...I don't know that I've heard of these before! Fantastic photo too! Thanks for joining in the challenge.
Yes, they are sooo beautiful. I'm adding a white one this spring that carries the same heart shape. I have red ones also, but they don't look the same, the heart is long and skinny. They're a great shade plant.
