One of my best friends brightened our days on the many trips we took together.



Modified this posting since I had forgotten to add the stitching across the page. Did not change the tracking thread since it was already marked as checked off.

Oh how I love to look back at moments in my life.

And say you said WHAT and bust out with laughter.
Not only do I look back at them and laugh a belly laugh
at them but I even share them as a way of telling myself
and my kids don’t ever think you are better than some
on because go back in your life and you have an oh my moment.

I remember being in the Mirage and my ex ordered a chicken
meal and I ordered a fillet mignon. We were tired he had
worked all day I was tired for it being 2am local time (three
hours behind me). He said what is taking them so long I
looked bright eyed and said I know did they go fishing to
catch my food. He said what did you say? What did you
order. I proudly said Filet Mignon and he said why would
they have to go fishing for your food. I told him because
it is a fillet. He said is it under the fish section. I looked at
him and said no it is under steak. He said so why did I
think it was a fish. I said because it is a fillet so it came
out of my mouth. LOL He looked at me and shook his
head and said he never knows what will come out of
my mouth.

Doing research at a courthouse. My ex boyfriend picked me up
took me to lunch and then brought me back and end of day
came back to follow me back to his house (he had control issues).

He tells me someone must have stolen my car because it wasn’t
where I parked. So I call my insurance company and ask for my
vin number and go inside the courthouse. I tell the cops there.
The guy tells me they haven’t had a car stolen from the
courthouse in years and I am probably confused but he will
fill out a report while the patrol searches for my car. He says
do you know your vin number and I said yes here it is. He tells me
you just walk around with your vin number. I proudly tell him
no my car is missing and I know you need a vin number so I called
my car insurance. He laughs and tells me come with him. He says
see the cop lights over there you were off by a parking lot.

Fast Forward 7 years I am hours away from where this happened a friend can’t remember where she parked so I am trying to make her feel better. by sharing my story. This guy is on the airport shuttle laughing. I am thinking this is for her not you. I go in to pay for parking to get my car and take my friend to find her car. This guy is paying same time as me goes out the door and waits for me. I am like I got to get my frined to find her car. I walk outside and he tells me I loved hearing you tell the story because I remember the day I got the call and found your white car. LOL I told him thank you for finding it for me and then thought oh no now he is going to go to work and say remember that girl who lost her car at the courhouse. she proudly brags about losing her car.

At least I still provide smiles LOL.
Obviously it doesn’t make me stop telling the story.
