40 Years of Memories

This was the morning of demolition day before the workers arrived to tear out our old kitchen. I couldn’t let it go without documenting the bittersweetness of saying good-bye to 40 years with this old kitchen. There is one anomaly in the photos, though… our new refrigerator was already in use. Perhaps I will get some photos of the all but finished new kitchen, dining room, and pantry scrapped some time… there is so much to organize and put away and the window treatments have been delayed. Sigh.
I mostly used Fixer Upper by Dandelion Dust Designs. I used some flowers from Keep On Walkin’ by Chunlin Designs and a bronze looking word strip from the Remembrance mini kit by Just Because Studio.

I really like how you've changed the template to suit you needs Sandy. I hope you get a chance to scrap the finished kitchen cause it's always fun to see the 'before' and 'after' photos. I like how you've layered papers and crated small clusters to help move the eye around the page.

I love that you flipped the template on its side to add your own spin to it. And what an adventure in redoing a kitchen! I hope you get a chance to scrap the after some time, it's always neat to see how different the two can look!

What a gorgeous page and I like the way how you rotated the template - a new kitchen is always a big challenge (I had this "adventure" some years ago)
