For the 4/15 Art of Memories Challenge, CarolW Designs provided us with a free mini kit, containing 9 elements + 1 paper, and we were asked to create a layout using all 10 items.

To create this layout, I started with the provided paper, and layered 3 copies of the blue stamp on it. I added my rabbit to the frame, made a copy of the rabbit photo, extracted the rabbit, and used the extraction to pop his ears and side over the edges of the frame. I clicked on the extracted rabbit to make a selection from it, and added a new solid color in a dark gray, that I offset and applied a gaussian blur to, to make a shadow.

Next, I started playing with the bicycle. I ended up making a row of bicycles, with an outer green glow. And then duplicated this row to make a pattern. The top most row has a blend mode of darken, and the rest have a blend mode of color burn.

Then, I added the cherry branch behind the frame, and used the separate cherry blossom to make it seem like one part of the branch wrapped in front of the frame. I added a bow and the mushroom charm to the branch. Finally, I added the Hello Spring flair above the frame, above a bicycle wheel, and put some glitter between the frame and the flair.
