I have hundreds of photos similar to these, taken on various days out, that usually started with a trip to the supermarket to buy a couple of loaves of bread. We would spend a few hours playing in the park, flying kites or kicking around a ball, stop for a picnic or takeaway by the river before ending our day by feeding all the ducks, swans and geese in the pond. Some of our most special and precious family memories took place on days just like this. Unfortunately until we saw this short video online we had no idea that what seemed like harmless and innocent family fun, was actually hurting the birds we loved and damaging their home. We can’t change past actions but at least we know better now!
