To prepare the recipe for Door Number 4, I have used one kit from Simplette called
Grow Wild. I used four papers, one as a background and three cut into concentric circles, using layer styles and shadows to complete my foundation layer. I next added three frames from the kit and made the fourth by creating a stroke around circular photo matt and applying a layer style. I added four flowers from the kit to decorate each frame. I the used four kit elements - a transfer, a flower, a ribbon and some baby’s breath to make my small cluster. I then added four of my pink flower photos taken at Tuinen van Appeltern in Holland, clipping them to the mats I created to use as clipping mats shaped for each frame. I believe that completes the main part of the recipe and I only need to add a bit of frosting by adding a text mat – recolored, a title and a blend mode to the background layer to make it show up more, The fonts used are Elephant Bells and Brush Script. I also recolored part of the molding of the square frame and added a texture to the rest of the frame to make it look like a photo mat. And I tucked some leaves in behind the frame flowers and added a stroked edge to the background and applied a layer style to frame the whole layout. The frosting is always the most fun! All photos are mine, I created a few bits and pieces and I believe all the tools used are included with my PS CC.
