Since we retired in 2008, we have been driving cross country once or twice a year staying at B&Bs, inns, various small historic and boutique hotels and I've collected many kits that I use for photos from these trips. However, since one stop we always make is in Las Vegas <wink, wink>, I've only scrapped some photos but have many more. There are kits out there but I was thinking something more "artsy" or "muted" instead of just photos or cartoon drawings of slot machines, chips or cards. Would like something that also depicts the glamour of the shows, the eclectic dining, the hotel architecture, etc. While I do enjoy playing the slots, Vegas has so much more to offer then just gambling. Not sure if this is something that can be done. Just a thought.
PS - I prefer no buttons - Rarely, if ever use them.

Jill, I really have no preference as you can find almost every color in the spectrum in Vegas. Going through my photos most any color scheme would work. In my mind's eye, I'm seeing the sparkly blue pools, the sun gold facades of some hotels, the greens of the gardens, white marble arches and walkways and then the varied colors of the show costumes. If I have to pick colors I would use most, it would probably be the blue, green gold, white/ecru and maroon for a little pop. Instead of traditional elements (buttons, bows, ribbons), I think just artsy elements - a mask or two, glitter confetti and some of your page candy/smatters with a Vegas twist embedded like the Welcome to Vegas Sign, Bellagio fountains, Lion at MGM Grand, Pyramid at the Luxor or the façade of Caesars Palace to name a few. Plain papers, grunge or edged, rather than plaids, strips or flowery so the pictures stand out. Sorry, you wanted color and I gave you more "I wants." Thanks Jill!
PS - Could not post this as a "comment" above. Kept giving me an error message. "Text Required"

Thanks for the extra info...when I think of Vages I think of black, red, gold, silver and green. I used to have a full sized Vegas kit years ago but that's long gone....(bummer huh?)

I would love to have a kit designed in honor of a dear friend (Ron) who spent many countless hours collecting and refurbishing antique bicycles over many years. When my husband and I opened our bicycle shop 20 years ago, Ron came in and his love and passion for bikes was astounding. He was the connoisseur of bicycles. He visited frequently and shared his knowledge and love of bicycles with us. After many years of friendship, he sold me one of his treasured pennyfarthings to give as a gift to my husband (which he always told my husband was not for sale). He knew how much my husband loved the pennyfarthing and wanted him to carry on his legacy. Did I mention the pennyfarthing is from 1877? Below is a picture of Ron with the pennyfarthing that now hangs in our store.

My color palette that I have chosen is "Rustic Summer". The colors reflect a manly, yet soft, rustic touch. I am artistic, but love a nostalgic flair. My perfect kit would have various antique bicycles made from chipboard or similar. I love texture so some honeycomb bits for the background would be great. The kit should have some enamel dots, antique looking buttons, knobs, and brads. Some delicate flowers, and definitely some leaf accents.....ivy would be perfect. For some added softness, small feathers in a palette color. Each of these elements would be perfect for making a commemorative shadow box to hang in our store, along with page layouts of his pictures. Thank you Jill for the chance to have this kit a reality! :)

Theme: Second Chances (ie at life, at love, at achievement, at hello, at goodbye, etc)
Colours: attached (taken from the Design Seeds site)
Style: artsy
Contents: slat masks & multiple photo templates, artsy & soft blends papers, colour smatters (rather plain - no doodles or images in them), lots of your page snippets and lots of word art so the word art or a name can easily be combined with the paper snippets, horizontal cluster or border so it can be used as part of a siggie. Specific elements would best be determined by you depending on what direction you take the suggestion towards.

Hi Jill. I am not sure if we can post a second suggestion for a kit or not but, after fighting for half hour to get the colour swatch for my first idea uploaded, I decided to submit a second idea while I still remembered how to add a picture to a post. This idea is best explained by a quote by Mandy Hale in her book "The Single Woman, Life Love and a Dash Of Sass:
"You’ll learn, as you get older, that rules are made to be broken. Be bold enough to live life on your terms, and never, ever apologize for it. Go against the grain, refuse to conform, take the road less traveled instead of the well-beaten path. Laugh in the face of adversity, and leap before you look. Dance as though everybody is watching. March to the beat of your own drummer. And stubbornly refuse to fit in."
Theme: A Dash Of Sass
Colours: bold & very vibrant jewel tones (as attached)
Style: artsy
Contents: jagged edged templates, grungy masks. torn & worn papers and paperbits, abstract smatters, word art (some phrases from the quote above) perhaps a mismatched alpha, and some glitter of course. Is it possible to do some classy grunge (ie jewel tone smatters or grunge papers)? Perhaps grungy or artsy swirls and flourishes instead of pretty flowers? And maybe some actual jewels because, even though I love grungy stuff, life is better with a few gemstones sprinkled in it.

Theme: Shangri La (from the movie "The Lost Horizon" 1937) --Zen/Introspection/Meditation
Style: Traditional
Contents (just suggestions): Cardstock & Papers (Lg and small floral, shabby, textures, plaids, paisleys, torn edges); Flowers, greenery, metals, stitching, torn fabrics, buttons, brads, clips, photo corners, mats, tags, butterflies & dragonflies(not cartoonish), brushes & stamps, pebbles/rocks, craft pebbles (the clear flat marble things at craft stores), vellum, alphabet (Upper & Lower case with symbols), caligraphy sayings, stitching, ribbons, twines, templates & masks.

This is not necessarily a religion based idea but more on who I am: peace, soul searching, comfort, meditation, calm, etc. Here is the color palette & ty so much for this opportunity.

I hope I win, because I can't get anyone to do this kit for me and it would be very helpful "therapy" in my art journaling. I live with chronic pain, horrible levels of pain. There are a lot of people in digi land that are in the same boat for one reason or another. In one forum I visit, half the people in there or more live with some form of chronic pain from a variety of reasons. I want a kit that I can use to express the pain plus frustration and sadness of losing my life at 30 yrs old (concentrating on the pain of course). This may scare off some designers, but I know the right on will do a great job.

1. and to this I would like to add gold foil. I would like the colors of the elements done in foil always on a black paper background. I am going for the metallic look for the colors. The papers can be a mixture of metallic/foil colors and regular colors. The color choice may confuse you,but the reason is that the pain is represented by the black paper. Me .. my spirit and what is left of me physically living is represented by the colors. I live all of the time , on a background of pain. It never leaves and it goes every where I do ,so that is why I imagined the foil colors on a blk background. I want the colors/ink to be foil or metallic, because the Bible says, that when we are in "the fire" (meaning troubles in life) the Lord is refining you just like metal in a refiners fire. The heat brings up the impurities in the metal that is being melted , so they can be taken out, leaving only the pure form of the metal . The foil colors are the purest form of me.

2. Mostly artsy with some traditional elements like a flower and a ribbon.. The is definitely a non traditional kit and it is going to have some wild elements that represent pain, maybe the noises we make in pain like ouch, that really hurts! and images of pain (for ex: like a cartoon head being hit by a cartoon hammer to represent the awful migraines etc..) This kit could be kind of dark, but the gold foil and the bright foil colors reminds me that this situation looks dark (Black color) now, but God's promises (the bright colors) breathe hope and life into me.

3.
3. I would like to see fabric flowers, greenery, single photo frames, lots of journaling bits, accents, doodles, I use a pretty basic Artisan, not PS/PSE, so you have a lot of images,brushes...lots of stuff in your program than I have in my program. My program basically came with no product and very few images, every thing I use content I had to buy. I don't where this blue highlight came from. I just copied and pasted a few words and this happened. I can't make it go away. Oh well. I mostly in need of images of pain think of torture devices from history, things of the spine, neck and head.. It sounds awful, but that's the only way I can express what I am physically. I need some word art too , so maybe some scriptures on healing or the struggle of waiting for God's timing.

We are planning a trip to South Africa late in the year. I would love to see a combination kit with your great artsy paints, stamps, etc. about the wildlife, the people, the landscapes. These colors makes me think of all of those things. I would like to have some animal stamps, great word art, burlap banners and flowers, pottery, drums, twine and raffia, grasses and a great tree ( you know the one you see silhouetted on the African plane in so many documentaries and movies) masks, dirt and maybe some dust blowing, sunset with clouds, etc. For a title maybe "Drums of Africa" or "Heartbeat of Arfica".

I hope I am doing this right! My son does musical theatre, dance, singing, and acting. I don't know what else to say except that it is REALLY difficult finding things related to dance and theatre that aren't pink or purple. I would love my kit to have an urban, artsy flair, just like Times Square in NYC. You'll notice the last two "colors" in the palette aren't colors, but are gold and silver glitter. Everything sparkles on Broadway, baby! Think "urban arts scene."

What do I want in my kit? Flowers (ANY kind! Love flowers!), lots of multi-photo frames to pick from, splatters, tags and objects that represent urban areas, theatre, and the arts, textured paper, ribbons, journaling boxes, quotes, flourishes, ribbons, some buttons, and I am sure a few other things I am forgetting.

Thank you SO much for giving me a chance to make this a reality!

We recently went for a campervan trip around the south Island of New Zealand. I have hundreds of photos that I am trying to scrap. We stayed at beaches, in forests & in snow. It was Autumn (Fall) Beautiful colours on the trees. We saw seals, penguins & swam with dolphins. I would love a kit that would compliment all or most of this. There are 2 color palette's that might do this if added together. One with autumn type colors The other brighter summery colors. I like mostly traditional with a little artsy & everything mostly real (flowers, greenery, elements) some doodles or splatters but not a lot. Frames that can be put together or left separate or masks (you introduced me to masks & I'm loving them). I hope this is enough information & I have answered everything correctly. Thank you for the chance to win.
