Corrupt A Wish Game

We played this game for our birthday party & had so much fun that we decided to play it again.

Everybody has at least one wish in life – better job, better pay, better living situation, more money, more friends, more stuff…

Now is your chance to tell us about YOUR WISH. Let’s play Corrupt a Wish! There’s a twist, though, hence this fun little game…

The rules are simple – corrupt/twist the wish of the person before you, then make your own wish.

An example….

Let’s say the first person posts: I wish for a million dollars!

The next person comes along and replies with something like:

Granted! But you have to eat a piece of cake for every $50 you spend.

I wish for a bigger house!

The next person to reply will need to corrupt/twist the wish for a bigger house, then make their own wish:

Granted! But you have to cut the trees yourself for the lumber and make the bricks yourself from scratch.


So, I'll start it off -

I wish all my kids lived within an hour of us (like they used to).

Granted....but there is a freakish storm and the temp drops below freezing

I wish someone else would do my grocery shopping and cooking for the rest of this year.

Granted but they buy all the foods you don't like and you have to eat them.

I wish I could lose a few pounds!
