I adore this layout by 01lousmith!
I love the mixed media painterly splatters and I especially love the stars! What a great idea to use Jen Yurko's Written in the Stars templates with a patriotic kit / theme! With all those glorious stars -- striped ones, puffy ones, ribbon ones, etc. -- that central red heart really draws my eye right in to the three photos. Love it!

This layout by Thuria is amazing!
I am very attracted lately to "white space" layouts. This one seems to me like it could be a snapshot of someone's travel journal. Some mixed media love in the center. Some ephemera. A photo pasted in. There is such a great balance, with a bit more weight right with the photo, and just off center, rule-of-thirds style. Perfection!

Scrapdolly's layout got me shopping!
This layout really captured my eye in the gallery. I like the neutral tones, the subtle texture, the mixed media feel, the floral cluster, and the rain drops. The title is a great size and really stands out, but doesn't overwhelm the photo.
It's been my personal experience that some of the layouts that look super easy and simple can be some of the hardest to pull off. And I suspect Scrapdolly's layout here is one of those effortless looking ones that took a lot of talent to get just right.
Made me hop right over to buy the Rainy Day LittleBigStories kit!
