RQOTD: October 28th: Do you play video games? Hand held or other?

I have my own Nintendo DS. My Dh bought me and Adam ones for Christmas in 2009. I still play mine. I love Animal Crossing and Professor Layton games. I have all the PL games except the latest one which is on my Christmas list. Those puzzles really are hard to solve!!!

My DS has an Xbox which I don't play but when we had our Wii, we used to play all the time. Sports and Mario were big fun!

I also play a lot of games on my iPad..Words with Friends and WordWelder are two of my absolute faves. I also love Ruzzle and Bookworm is an app that I've had a long time.

i play candy crush - both of them ... *hangs head* ........ as well as alphabetty, cookie jam and farm heroes on the computer. We have a Wii and we love playing anything Mario, the wii sports, DDR and Just Dance. The kids are into minecraft (groan) and zelda games as well.

See my other thread about games and phone apps... i play a lot. Lol!

As far as game consoles... i have a Nintendo 2ds, hubby and I play Mario kart together, and I have the donkeys country or whatever on my wish list for us to play together. I also have little big planet 1 & 2 for the PS3 but rarely if ever play them. I choose to spend my time on the computer scrapping, instead.

before i scrapped i was what many would have considered to be hard core gamer on the pc - back in the old days i played just about every adventure and single player RPG game released for the pc.
now i play maybe 1 adventure game a month and haven't played an rpg in ages.l keep want to give one a try but between my ct commitments and haivng an older pc - the idea of playing a 50 plus hour game is bit daunting. and to think i used ot love 100 plus hour games.

ideally i would love to do both

This is why I stopped playing in the first place. (Thanks for reminding me!) I'd get stuck on a level, google it to see there was a glitch, and get mad. 383 might be one of those levels you have to play on the computer to pass. It was so irritating they wouldn't fix a level glitch on a game that was gaining so much popularity. (I was playing before an app had been created, so early stages of the app's existence. )

We have always had the latest playstation and love all sorts of games. My all time fav is tomb raider, use to love having to find stuff and solve puzzles. We use to have gaming nights were 5 or 6 friends would come over and we'd play till the wee hours of the mornings.... but that was a while ago .....now I seem to just play her games on the PC and IPAD!

I only play on my phone - Solitaire and Smash Hit (a great stress reliever!), but my boys and husband play all the time. 2 tablets, 2 laptops, 3 xbox 360s, 2 xbox ones & a few other game consoles. I don't touch these, but I am really trying to be understanding about the others at home playing - I'm guessing that my guilty pleasure is scrapping, so they deserve theirs, right?

Any thoughts here?

We don't play too many games, we have a retro PacMan plug-n-play that the boys like, other than that I play Two Dots on my phone while I am up with the baby.
