journaling:
We had a discussion the other day on what we prefer: summer or winter? For me it's winter. While I absolutely love the beach and summer vacations, I can't stand the summer heat in the city. So I only love summer for only a week or so, when we are on a vacation; the other five (!) months of summer (May- September!!!) are awful! And while I love winter, I never want to go on a trip then. I never know what to pack, how cold it'll be there, and what kind of cold it will be. So I'd rather stay home in winter and travel in summer! In this photo we were on a short vacation in Marmari, Evvoia, in July 2024. While daughter and hubby went swimming, I was able to enjoy a few moments of solitude, in absolute silence, feeling the hot sun on my skin and listening to the waves.

I can't help but feel a little disappointed that since this challenge requires a purchase, we weren't given more of a heads-up while the products were actually on sale. This is my first GDSO, so I've been trying to keep up with everything, but obviously missed the little mention in the Dates to Remember post. :(
Ugh, we try to cover all of the bases, but I guess we needed to be a little more thorough with our BBD Challenge reminders. If you get our newsletters, you can see the BBD products there. If you don't let me know and I'll forward the newsletter to you. They are all still active in the shop....we just disable the category after the promo ends.

EDIT: Oops, I was so caught up in trying to meet the BBD requirement that I forgot there was also a recipe component! I guess I need to rethink this one.
Do all of the BBD kits even include all of the recipe items?? @Mother Bear

I'm not sure if all BBD kits have all the recipe items. It's a case of looking to see and if you are not sure the one I used as well as the other participants choices have everything you need.

I can't wait to see your layouts!

General Rules
Your pages for each challenge must be new pages in order to qualify for credit. You cannot use SCRAP♥ Bingo layouts for GDSO 5.0 layout completion. All GDSO 5.0 layouts must be posted in our GDSO gallery here: The Great Digi Scrap Off https://pickleberrypop.com/forum/media/categories/the-great-digi-scrap-off.1158/ with proper credit given. See our PDF guide!

Specific Rules for Signature Challenges
Use It All Challenge
: You must use ALL and ONLY the items in the mini kit. The 75% PBP Rule does not apply to this challenge. If an element is provided in multiple colors in the mini kit, you only have to use ONE COLOR of that element.
Template Challenge: You must use current PBP Products for your challenge layouts along with the provided template.
Mystery Box Challenge: You must only use the contents of our March 2025 Mystery Box for your layout.
Childhood Wonder Collab Challenge: You must use only our Childhood Wonder Designs. You should have several parts of the collab already, if you have been playing along with us.
BBD Challenge: You can only use our March 2025 BBD products

Weekly Technical and Showstopper Challenges
The Technical and Showstopper challenges must use at least 75% current/active product in the PBP Shop in order to qualify for credit. If you can link to it in our shop, you can use it. Technical and Showstopper Challenges CANNOT be completed using the Use it All Mini Kit, Template or Mystery Box that is given with Signature Challenges.

Each week's three challenges must be completed by the deadline in order to qualify for the weekly participation prize and to be considered for our weekly Star Scrapper Award.

Our Grand Prize will be awarded to one scrapper who completes all 15 challenges by the last week’s deadline. This means even if you don’t finish each week on time, you can still catch up to earn the remaining prizes and qualify for the Grand Prize!

Please start a post in the GDSO Challenge Tracking thread
Keep your post up-to-date with links to the layouts that you’ve completed and uploaded to the GDSO gallery. Please make sure you are linking to your page IN THE GDSO GALLERY, not the thread post in the challenge.

Final deadline for all layouts is April 4 @11:59pm ET. At that time the tracking thread will be locked, the final weekly prizes will be sent, and winners will be contacted by April 7.
Julie - In your challenge recipe you mentioned "anything else you like". Can this include sprays of flowers? That would make the clusters more than 5 flowers and 2 foliage.

I used elements from 2 BBD collections because they didn’t have all the required elements in one. It’s all from BBD purchases, though. I listed the items used for the challenge requirements in the gallery.
