Thanks for the challenge.
Oh Sandy a Barbershop Chorus...how wonderful. You must have a beautiful voice. Love the two choices you have made. The photos are wonderful and your stacking, stamping and transfers are fantastic. I just love your Busy Girl quote and your page is beautifully scrapped. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Great challenge!
I tried to capture how I can at the same time want time off from my boys and miss them, their incessant chatter, their mere presence, as soon as they're not here. (It's the Easter break! They drive me crazy AND fill my heart with love at the same time!)

So cute Lou. I can understand the two distinct feelings for the boys. I do the same with the grandchildren. We have Friday, Saturday and Sunday off from looking after the grandkids. We may still see them on these days but their parents are there too. By the time Friday comes I am looking forward to our 'long weekend' but by Sunday afternoon I am missing them - the house is so quiet.

I love the boy blend - looks so cute with the boy element in front of it. Fantastic cluster on the right and great journaling. Adorable page! Thanks for participating in the challenge.

I think every scrapper knows this feeling. When our creative side kicks in and our mojo is peaked everything seems to fall onto the page effortlessly BUT when we have lost that mojo, feel totally uninspired and nothing seems to want to pair up with anything else...yes...we have all been there.

Your creative side is so cute and definitely creative with the lovely clusters and scribble behind. The uninspired is exactly what the uninspired mind sees...lots of lovely elements but what to do with them and where exactly to place them. Beautifully scrapped. Thanks for participating in the challenge.

Week 5 Show Stopper – Flip a Coin – Thank you Jenni for the challenge, I was lucky to have previously purchased a couple of these kits earlier, so I have used more then two hope that is ok. I started with the basis of a template – Fayette Designs - Everything is a mixture – Our Voice – Dutch Dream – Kakleidesigns – Idyllic Time – Dutch Dream – Kakleidesigns – Picturesque – Carol W – Kakleidesigns Flower Flood – Elysian – Dutch Dream - Kakleidesigns – Photos – mine – Fonts – Grand Hotel – Bali Sunrise – Agency – ( I went with a little past and present of my life at this time hope that is ok). Journal as follows: This was me up until nearly 4 months ago. I was married to a wonderful man for 46 years, who gave me the world. Unfortunately totally out of the blue I lost him. We were fortunate enough to have retired some time ago. We had so much in common, we loved to do the same things. We owned our own business and worked together very successfully, When home in later years apart from the usual day to day chores, our hobby was Computers, slightly different interest but we both had our own offices so all good. We also loved to travel which we were fortunate enough to do over the years, and really had no plans of changing, till suddenly all changed in the space of less then one day.

Now it is only me trying to adjust to life with out the Love of my Life. I have a beautiful home, and of course the normal day to day chores, I love taking photos and playing around with them on the computer, which I really enjoy and love learning new things. I also have a collection of Teddy Bears which keep me involved, something I have always loved since I was a little girl. Fortunately my Husband became very attached to them also, not that I guess he had much choice in the matter. Hopefully I will still continue to travel. Just recently on the advice of friends I traveled to the US a place my Husband and I did travel to quite frequently. It was a complete new learning experience but we were well known and very welcomed so that was a big bonus. I am not going to say it was easy, after traveling with someone for all that time, it was very different, but I guess to my credit I managed it very well. To coin a phrase 2 of my friends have said quite frequently of a late, “You are Stronger then you Think”. Maybe that is true I don’t know, what the future holds nobody knows, but what I do know for sure he will always be by my side, silently giving me his Strength Love and Encouragement when I need it the most.

Certainly it is ok to use more than two. Firstly to your journaling (and thank you for setting it out so I don't have to strain my eyes trying to read it) your first paragraph sounds so like my husband and me - retired, worked together in our own business, love computers and share an office. We also love to travel. I cannot imagine how much of a shock it was to lose him so suddenly. I am so sorry.

The adjustment you have had to make must have been so scary. I am so glad you took the advice of your friends and traveled - that too must have been a little daunting, being well known and very welcomed would have helped enormously. Yes he will always be by your side and therefore a great source of comfort especially when you most need it.

The photos of you and your husband are very poignant and precious and I really love how you have the brightness of the yellow, both in the photos and the papers and elements you have chosen. I also like the pastel pink/mauve on the solo side with it's lovely flower cascading border. A very lovely page and I hope the composing and journaling helped a little with your loss. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Lovely photos and a gorgeous cluster. The photo of you and your family is adorable and I envy you having a horse - a great action shot. Beaut photos stacks and I like how you have stapled down the photos too. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Great challenge - thank you. I used to love to travel to many different places (usually beaches and sun) but ever since the pandemic I am so happy just to stay at home (maybe age has something to do with it also). I guess as long as I'm happy not travelling and being at home I feel very blessed

Thanks @Ozegirl (Jenni) for this Show Stopper challenge. Two of the photos are mine. The other two are from Pixabay. I started with a template from “Keep Your Distance Templates” by Jen Yurko. I used glitter styles from “At The Seaside Glitters” by Aimee Harrison Designs on the template’s stars. Everything else is from “Let Your Hear Be Your Compass” by Dutch Dream Designs & Heartstrings Scrap Art (with some re-coloring). Fonts used: AFE Jen Medium, Daffadowndilly NF Regular & High Hopes Italic.

Journaling: "I retired at the end of 2021 after nearly 40 years in the IT field. But I’d also once had a part-time business as a scrapbook consultant/teacher that I had to give up back in 2016. After I retired from my professional job started telling people I was a now a “professional grandma”. But there was a part of me that really missed my time helping people with scrapbooking. So, in 2023 I got up the courage to start a blog with scrapbooking tips. Now I have those two sides of me! Couldn’t be much happier than this!"

Oh I do love your three photos showing the different seasons and the quote is truly beautiful. You have divided your page beautifully and your clusters are so sweet. Blues and yellows always marry so well together and your page is lovely. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Very sweet photos of mother and daughter. You have divided your page beautifully and the two collections marry well together. Your clusters are so lovely too. I also like the way you have the two different frames. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Here's my layout for this fun challenge! I used these recent collabs: Let's Shine Together (Wife side) and Flower Flood (Grandma side).

Your photos are lovely - the backdrop is beautiful especially in the 2nd photo with the avenue of trees. You have blended everything so well so that the divide blends so perfectly together. The quotes you have used convey the story of your roles as grandmother and wife and your journaling is great. Thank your for participating in the challenge.
