We have ours in what was meant to be a formal dining room. I'd much rather have the piano there. Faye, do you play?

Right now my favorite music artist is a friend of mine, Jeff Hamilton, who is one of the best pianists I've ever heard. He's an engineer by trade and only plays privately, but I could listen to him all day. Every once in a while he plays during a church service for us.

What are the first 3 things you do each morning?

I've actually been to London, but I still need to see a play on stage. I would LOVE to have seen the 25th Anniversary of Les Mis - LOVE me some Alfie Boe :)

@Kathryn Estry - yes, I do play piano. I took lessons for a LONG time :) I used to play in a little band when I was in high school & traveled around with my electric piano. I have a Clavinova now (another electronic keyboard with lots of bells and whistles), but I'm yearning for a baby grand :)

What is your favorite season...and do you get to enjoy it where you live or do you have to travel to see it?

I love summer because I could totally LIVE in my subdivision pool! I'd love to have a pool at home but never will, so I'm really glad we have one close by. Plus, I'm in Texas, so we have a pretty long swimming season.

Faye mentioned musicals. Les Mis is my all-time favorite by far - actually have seen it in 3 different cities including London in the 80s with Colm Wilkinson!

What is your favorite musical?

The top of Dubai's Burj Khalifa. Actually any tall building or tower in the world.

Given the choice of a different home would you choose inner city, suburbia, country, ocean views and would it be ancient (as in a castle, chateau), a couple of hundred years old, this century or something shiny new and ultra modern with all the bells and whistles?

I’d like to know if either my hubby or I would get Alzheimer’s ... it worries us ... I’d like to plan

And Faye we saw Alfie Boe in Les Mis first time round ... we are addicts ... seen it 8 times

If you could have three famous people over to dinner ... even people who are no longer alive ... who would your guests be

OH MY HECK, Karen.....I'm only a little green with envy! I've been to one concert he did here with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir at Christmas. It was amazing! He sang Bring Him Home from Les Mis along with so many beautiful Christmas songs, which put me over the moon. I would love to have seen him in Les Mis (and secretly, I would love to have played the innkeeper's wife on stage with him. Lol, I wouldn't have the nerve, but a girl can dream grin)

I like to look around if I have time - craft stores, home stores, and maybe dress stores, but honestly, I'm usually running in and out.

What's the most interesting thing you have in your purse right now?

When you go shopping, do you take your own bags or use plastic bags if the shop offers them?

It sounds trite but I am really happy with being me ... took 58 years but I got there. However if I could be anyone else I guess I’d like to be a travel writer going on lots of trips and recording my thoughts and reviews

If you could add an extra room to your home what would it be?
