Thanks Jenni, for this Show Stopper challenge. I don’t have an extensive genealogical knowledge (especially with photos) of my family so this was a little tough for me. So, I chose to highlight the family members for which I do have photos.

A beautiful page Debbie. Your journaling was interesting and the photos are just wonderful. I love your tree - it is beautifully created and the little name tags are lovely and the font just perfect. Great composition and I like the way you have done the middle of the tree. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Thanks so much for this challenge. I LOVE Genealogy and Family History!

Beautiful composition - love the tree and the horseshoes add a unique touch. Your clusters are delightful and I love the tag with the added family members. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

I love the softness of your page Lydia. It is unfortunate that the photos of your grandparents have been lost over the years but you could possibly find them on the net if any of your cousins etc. have family trees. There is just so much information available now that one had to pay money for just a few years ago and wait for snail mail to deliver the paper copies. The photos of your parents are lovely and you look absolutely adorable. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

I love the elements you have used to make your tree Lou. Your journaling tells quite a sad story. There is so much information on the net now and perhaps your cousins or other relatives have trees that could give you information if you were interested. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Your jounaling was interesting Sandy. Scottish records are very good and I also, like your husband, have traced my family back to the 1200's. How sad for your father to lose his adoptive mother when he was only 8. I wonder if his life would have been happier if she had lived. Times were often so hard, especially when families were often large with many mouths to feed. The photos you have shown are lovely and you clusters lovely. It is always nice to see your smiling face too. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

I really need to find photos to make a better family tree! The postage stamp of a ship is by CarolW Designs but it doesn't seem to be in the store anymore - hope that is ok. If not I can remove it. Thank you for this challenge!

The pictures you have used are a real hoot LOL! The postage stamp is ok as you have other PBP elements etc. You were lucky to have such loving Gt. Grandparents. I enjoyed reading your jounaling. Thank you so much for participating in the challenge.

Californian through and through! Wow, having your Gt. Gt. Grandmother come to California in a covered wagon is a fascinating piece of your family history. It is hard to imagine the hardships as they traveled through the country. Fantastic photos and journaling and your DNA would be so interesting. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Show Stopper Challenge – Week Two – Thank you Jenni for the challenge, this one was a little difficult for me, as I don’t know really anything about the family tree I never knew either set of grandparents – they died long before I was born, and virtually no photos, so I took a slightly different approach and listed what I do know up to at least when my brother and I had grown up, and not so old photos. Mum’s mother died when she was only young, but her Mum had 5 sisters and one brother that played a big part in our lives growing up. Dad was a one and only but did have an adopted brother and sister, but he never really spoke much about his side hence now I have not got a clue. Everything is a mixture between Moments in Time – Time Capsule – both HSA – text dividers – my stash - Photos – mine – Fonts – Ageless Heritage – Mosiac

Journaling reads:
My Grandparents on my father's side immigrated from the United States of America.
I didn't really know them very well. He was one of 11 children.
My Grandparents on my mother's side were Dairy Farmers in Delbourne, Alberta.
I loved spending time at the farm because there were lots of animals.
I was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, and have 4 siblings. My father owned a trucking company, and my mother was a teacher. I am the middle child of 5, and I have 2 children, 4 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

What a wonderful page. Your journaling is captivating and I love how you took the theme and made it your own with the limited knowledge of your ancestors. You have added a lot of information to your page and I really like the way you have set it up. The papers you have used, the font and your delightful clusters make for a lovely creative page. The photos in their small round frames look fantastic. Thank you for participating in the challenge.
