Dannisa these two roles are so fulfilling aren't they. I love your photos with all the happy smiling faces. I am so sorry you lost Justin and I know this is something you will learn to live with but never get over. Your clusters and framed photos are wonderful and the blend is just perfect. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Great challenge!

Oh I really think I am just like you. I too love my alone time but am happy and comfortable in social situations. I think the pandemic has changed us all, in how we now manage our time and our relationships. I love the way you have set out your page - the composition is perfect. The lovely side clusters are so sweet and the yellow stamp perfectly finishes off the page nicely. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

My coin has three sides as I couldn't decide on who to leave out... so went with Daughter, Wife & Mother
Lovely photos of your three roles. It is so sweet that you could not leave one out and that they therefore obviously mean so much to you - each with their own special relationship. I like the way you have set out your page and separated the roles and the photos show this quite clearly. Your photo stack and cluster are delightful. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Thanks for hosting Jenni!
I love how you have coloured the two words Beth, SOMBER and RADIANT. You have a lot of layers and your blending is perfection. Loving the linear composition with the main elements vertical but the horizontal patch on the background paper balances and the composition off perfectly. Love the two pictures, wonderful choices to show your feelings on the two different days. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

I chose relaxed and hectic. Sometimes I wake up calm, sometimes I'm like a hurricane.
Loving your two photos. The older I get the more I choose relaxed and hectic but I do know exactly what you feel. I absolutely love the way you have divided your page with the fantastic blend of the newspaper background on your hectic side. The plethora of words do denote the 'busy, hectic' perfectly whilst your relaxed side has the paper with so much softness, from the muted colours right through to the barely there framing. Perfect! Thank you for your participation.

Created with February Faves: Bundle by Dandelion Dust Designs and Bold Elegance by Jen Yurko.

JOURNALING: Regardless if I am working in the role as youth tour director or living the moment as an aunt or a great-aunt, I very much enjoy working with student leaders. Watching young minds open and absorb the world around them, watching their perspectives change and dreams beginning to take shape and take hold is the most rewarding experience. March 2024

Oh I love the two photos but the one of you holding that adorable little fella just makes me smile and smile again. What an interesting role; watching the young student leaders grow and begin to map out their future lives and begin to follow their dreams must be so rewarding. I found your paper choices so interesting. The one on the left behind the young leaders has the firmer red lines (to me denoting the more formal area of their life where their role is out of their control - schooling, work etc.) and then the softer peach lines behind where pathways are opening up and the roads they will travel are still quietly sitting in the background waiting to find direction. Then on the funny, silly, sweet side you have a playful shape, softly shaded with lines like little giggles going from a central softer smudgy spot. Loving it! Your cluster and little flowers are lovely too.

This layout is about my role as both a mom and a boss to my daughter.

I used Word Art Pack from Our Voice, Elements from Busy Days, and several packs from Memory Keeper.

It must be have been wonderful to home-school your daughter and now you are her boss. Your relationship must be especially close. I love the photo and your cluster is so sweet. Your framing and blending of the photo is lovely too. I love clocks on scrap pages and I imagine the clock has been very much a part of your life with your daughter denoting school hours and then work hours. A lovely touch within the cluster. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Thanks for the challenge
I love clocks on scrap pages but I can see why you don't actually like the clock in your daily life. Farm work is very hard - I come from farming stock and spent my early years on a farm and can remember very clearly how hard it was for my parents and that the daily grind did not have a 'clock-off' time. Vacations - yes they do go so very fast and it seems one just gets to that total relaxation time of body, mind and soul and it is time to go home...and then it feels as if you haven't been away as your rhythm of every day life kicks straight back in. Fabulous photos and great journaling. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

I love how you chose b/w for the busy and colour for the happy. Great quote too, made me smile. The round photos look great against the paper triangles. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

Thanks for the fun challenge! I scrapped my two sides - Work Jenn (analytical) and Home Jenn (creative).
Maths & Excel - there are no two words that make me shudder more than these two LOL! Maths and I have never been buddies and it was, apart from Algebra, my horror subject at school. Within my career I have used Word and Publisher extensively and Excel quite a bit but I admit if I could get away with make a Table in Word that would do the job that was my go to rather than Excel. Love your photo - the cup is just perfect and your cluster and paper choice are just perfect. Those mushrooms are gorgeous. Loved reading your journaling too. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

I am a bit disappointed that this challenge was for 2 kits, not just 1. To have been apart of the entire GDSO 4.0 Challenges it
has been very expensive. Had to buy a Berry Big Deal and 2 Duo kits. Not sure I will participate again.

I am so sorry that you have been disappointed with this challenge and it has soured the entire GDSO 4.0 Challenges for you.

Your photos are lovely and I particularly love the way you have stacked them. Your paper stack behind the photos sets them off beautifully. The scribble on the bottom right side looks almost like a signature and adds a very personal touch to a very nice page.

I used pieces from 3 Digi-Duo bundles.
I too feel the same way as you - with family and friends I am personality plus but put me in a social situation where I don't know many or someone new I struggle with small talk and yes, stay in the background. I love how you have done the black and white photo and the coloured one as the happy, relaxed and confident you. Very nicely divided page showing the bright side and then the diffident side with the pale brown/tan paper. Love your journaling and the way you have composed your page. Very nicely scrapped. Thank you for participating in the challenge.

@momdahn - It appears that you have only used one duo for your layout - the challenge stipulates...Use a combination of at least two Digi Duo/Trio packs from different collections to scrap two sides of your life. Could you please either delete your layout or redo it to fit within the challenge rules. Thank you.
