Thanks for hosting Gina!
Oh Beth, your layout is so cute - I love everything here especially the vertical flow. Your warped shadows are so excellent.
Thank you for playing around with me.

I use Artisan 6 and don't have the ability to warp shadows. What I did was find a template that had shadows on the frames, then added heavy shadows to them. Hopefully this is good enough.

For the other elements on the page, I just did some recoloring and texturing.

Thanks for this challenge. I tried the shadow warp on banners, bow, title. I really need more practice with this!
Gorgeous page, Connie - I like the big photo and the smaller one. Your clustering is fantastic and your warped shadows turn out great - be sure you will love this technique.
Thank you so much for taking part in the challenge.

Thanks Gina, for this Technique challenge. This was a good challenge for me. I have warped element shadows before but I don’t think I’ve ever warped a paper section as you’ve shown so I went with that today. And I needed a moment of solitude after difficult times over the last ten days which inspired me to create this layout.

Well, this was a huge challenge as I use PSE19 - which does not have the ability to have shadows on a separate layer.
I was able to make shadows of the words Dream and Weaver by duplicating the word and moving it below the word, change the color to a soft gray, flip it upside down then use the Transform - Perspective and adjust the opacity to 50%. .

I duplicated the large sunflower tag, simplified it and changed the color to a soft gray. set the opacity to 50%, made it a bit larger than the tag and set it at a slight angle under the sunflower tag with a bit of shadow showing at upper left corner and more showing at the lower right corner.

I hope that these 2 shadows will meet the criteria for this challenge.

Hello Kay! Your shadows on their own layer are perfect! You did exactly what you needed to do to create them. I've explained this technique on my blog since currently no version of PSE will allow us to put shadows on their own layers as can be done in full Photoshop. Great job!

I use PSE 19 and I do not have the option of doing warped shadow. I duplicated the layer, made it larger, lower the opacity, shifted a bit. I hope it is good enough to pass the challenge. If not, please let me know.

I used the warp tool on 3 shadows: under the heart in my word art, the photo frame shadow, and also under the post card.
Gorgeous page and what a cool photo of the three - I like the framing and all the added elements. The warped shadows turn out great - well done.
Thank you so much for taking part in the challenge.

Gorgeous page, Karen - I like the family photos and the fantastic clustering. You solved the "problem" with the warped shadows wonderfully - great work.
Thank you so much for taking part in the challenge.
