We don't really get much snow in South Africa... it only falls occassionally on the highest peaks. I have always had a fascination for snow and just LOVED the times I've had the opportunity to experience the beauty and wonder it. As a child we lived in the US for a year and one of the highlights for me was my first snow! And boy did it snow... coldest winter in 60 years while were were there! My kids have seen snow twice now. This past winter I drove them two hours after school just so that they could play in it. We'd had a huge storm and finally could get to the snow in our car. It was SNOW exciting! This collection was designed to capture the wonder and beauty of fresh snow.
